Erica Davis

Erica has enjoyed teaching since she was in college at the University of Illinois, where, as a piano performance major and voice minor, she won the TJ Smith Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship for female music majors with outstanding musicianship and high academic standing. Through these 30+ years, she has found joy in teaching people of all ages and levels. Erica’s style has been described as creative and upbeat while expecting focus and best effort.

Erica plays piano professionally as a soloist and as an accompanist for choirs, vocal and instrumental soloists, musical theater, and ensembles. She has sung in choirs her whole life including the University of Illinois Oratorio Society, The University of Illinois New Music Ensemble, St. Joseph Shrine Cappella, and Detroit Schola Cantorum. Erica looks forward to using her skills and passion to inspire students to develop well-rounded musicianship.
